This track was written as a farewell to my departed cousin Celeste. Her departure from this realm was a shock to all of us, and this was my way of coping with it.

I asked Niahm to do the lyrics based on Celeste's characteristics, because the pain of her loss was too recent for me to do any creative work with lyrics.

Any longer than it's meant to be.
As sweet as beauty is to the eyes,
It finally's got to give.

So many things still unsaid
